attractive lobby, very clean and updated. fresh rooms

the use of flourescent lights in the room gave me a headache and it made the room very drab.

I would stay at this hotel again; but I would bring my own light-bulbs and change out the fixtures. The room was clean and nicely decorated, but with the flourescent bulbs it was drab and dreary. Would not have wanted to stay for more than one night under those circumstances. ...read more

Poor walkability; not updated.

Decent but somewhat shabby Holiday Inn Express. Location for meeting place was good but off convenient transportation; cab to downtown Sacramento, only a few miles away, was $20.

Excellent breakfast choices while still providing coffeemaker, microwave and refrigerator in room. Every amenity of a more expensive hotel.

I had to call the hotel directly to make sure one of our rooms was wheelchair friendly and the other was a king size room. The staff handled those requests with friendly ease. This hotel has every amenity you could want and the rooms are quiet and well insulated. It has surface parking and a parking structure. There are no rooms on the ground floor so the elevator access from the parking structure is convenient. The continental breakfast and the hotel's close proximity to major highways were benefits to staying here.

Too late now, but it would have been nice to have the lavatories separate from the toilet / shower - that way 2 people can get ready at the same time.

The staff was helpful and having internet access and a printer helped with printing our boarding passes. It was helpful to have a continental breakfast in the morning.
